  • HOW DID YOU GET INTO DOG PHOTOGRAPHY?

Do you remember the Corona Lockdown in 2020? I started with photography as I had a lot more free time. I wanted to capture my old dog Sari and create some special memories of her.
  • YOUR WORK « Stop Your Motion » EARNED YOU THE TITLE OF DOG PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR. CAN YOU SHARE THE STORY BEHIND CREATING THIS IMAGE?

I absolutely adore photographing running dogs. Although, I have to admit, none of my prior pictures showed the speed and motion quite like I’d hoped. So I started thinking about how I could capture this quality.
  • REFLECTING ON THIS PROJECT, WHAT STANDS OUT AS YOUR MOST UNFORGETTABLE MEMORY?

I was so happy when I achieved my first great result with my dog T’esha. I managed to get a sharp picture of the dog at the front end and a lovely blur at the rear.
  • THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS, WHAT POSED THE GREATEST CHALLENGE FOR YOU?

Initially, I didn’t have the equipment for studio photography, and, above all, I lacked experience. So I had to experiment and learn everything by myself right from the start.
  • WHAT DOES WINNING THE AWARD MEAN TO YOU?

Winning the Dog Photography Awards meant a lot to me, as it validated my hard work and dedication. It serves as recognition for my efforts and motivates me to continue striving for excellence. It also boosted my confidence and encouraged me to set higher goals for myself.

  • LASTLY, CAN YOU GIVE US A GLIMPSE INTO ANY UPCOMING PROJECTS YOU’RE CURRENTLY WORKING ON?

Good question.  I’m working on three different projects at the moment. They’re all quite different, but they all challenge my technical knowledge.
